Dr. Loria’s minimally invasive Penile Enlargement Procedure is called the PLATINUM Technique. This acronym, PLATINUM Technique, stands for: Penile enlargement using a collagen Layering Activation filler Technique Involving New and Unique Materials
The PLATINUM TECHNIQUE is an acronym that stands for “Penile enlargement using a Collagen Layering Activation filler Technique Involving New and Unique Materials”. This technique is primarily for Circumferential or Girth Enlargement of the Penis (this technique is also used for Scrotal Skin enhancement and reconstruction). Even though length gains have been seen, they are not consistent with each and every patient. Dr. Loria developed this technique for several reasons:
FDA approved long acting filler and other FDA approved medications became available and now provide Physicians with a purified, sterile, safe, and high quality medication to use for Penis Enlargement.
To provide a safe and effective alternative penis enlargement treatment which is the simple insertion (through a needle poke in the skin) of long acting filler materials under the penile skin and involves:
3. This needle poke has now provided a ‘port’ to insert the filler material.
Please note that the Silikon 1000 (or similar), seen above, material is one potential filler that can be used.
4. After the filler material has been placed under the penile skin, the penis becomes enlarged and the body will now begin to react with the filler material to generate collagen. Collagen is a protein, similar to what your skin is made of. The image of the skin will demonstrate where the collagen is located in the skin.
When the filler material causes the production of collagen, it will be making the same basic collagen found in the skin diagram. This collagen build-up is what is seen as the ‘penis enlargement’ change that occurs.
Before Collagen Build-Up
After Collagen Build-Up
5. A gauze wrap is placed around the penis.
The gauze wrap is used as an aid to molding the newly formed collagen to parallel the very shape of the penis.
After the PLATINUM TECHNIQUE is performed, which takes about 1-2 hours, the penis is wrapped with gauze – as seen in the photo above – and the patient will leave the office in this fashion. Several re-wrappings will need to be done, in addition to cleaning the genital area. The patient will need to take an active role in assisting in wrapping and cleaning while at home.
Results are seen 35-40 days after the procedure. Even though the collagen formation occurs for up to 90-days, a majority of the result can be seen at almost four weeks. A second procedure or any other subsequent procedure can be done as early as 6 weeks after the previous one. Having a second procedure is for those men who know that they want at least a 1.5-inch increase in circumference.
There is no need to wait for more than 6 weeks from the first procedure to have the second treatment. Typically, 90% of the patients will gain ¾ to 1-inch, which is expected after the first treatment, and then an additional ¾ to 1-inch on the second treatment. Those patients who want over 2-3 inches in girth gains will need a third procedure, and this, depending on how quickly and efficiently the patient heals from treatment number two, could be done again 6 weeks after the second treatment.
Dr. Loria uses not only the most sophisticated and state-of-the-art techniques that are available and recognized today, but also has been making advancements and providing cutting edge technology with advanced techniques in the Penile Enlargement & Restoration field.
The PLATINUM Method has advantages over the more common Penile Enlargement Surgical procedures, whether using a Silicone Implant Strip, Donor Skin, Dermal Grafts (your skin), Lipo-Suction fat transfer, Vacuum devices, or untested fillers such as Artefil products.
Dr. Loria takes great pride in offering his patients the latest in Penile Enlargement Techniques involving a Minimally Invasive Medical procedure. The Doctor uses FDA Approved U.S. Pharmaceutical material. Dr. Loria uses this material as a Filler. It is used in the face, hands, and other body areas. Regarding use in the Penis, it is artfully and skillfully placed in such a fashion as to create an enlarged and distinguished penile sculpture.
This Filler has unique properties. After the Filler has been placed your body will react with the filler material to stimulate a reaction generating your own collagen material. After a majority of the filler is completely gone, your body will build up a thick collagen layer, just like the collagen that is found in your own skin. The PLATINUM Method allows your own body to synthesize your own collagen, thus being much more natural than any other product on the market and much safer than most if not all surgical techniques currently available today.
When it comes to Surgical procedures, such as Lipo- Suction Fat transfer tissue, implanting some other person’s skin (Alloderm TM), or implanting artificial material (large Silicone Sheets) in your Penis, there are numerous Surgical Risks that need to be understood and considered.
The PLATINUM Method differs greatly from these more common Penile Enlargement Surgical procedures because it is your own collagen that will be produced, nothing foreign to your body.
When considering a Surgical Method of treatment, for example, the insertion of a very large Silicone Rubber square piece of material underneath the Penile Shaft skin to increase the girth, this usually involves general anesthesia and cutting of the Penile Shaft open to insert the large piece of Silicone Rubber. Sutures are then placed to close the open wound. This material is relatively inert but may cause pressure on the skin resulting in irritation and penile skin ulceration. If this were to occur, the entire Silicone Rubber Implant would need to be removed.
A Penile Enlargement Method very similar to the Silicone Rubber sheet insertion is a technique that uses another type of commercially available prosthetic called Alloderm™ or BelladermTM. The Alloderm dermal-matrix graft is surgically placed under the skin of the penile shaft. Alloderm is made from donor human skin. The material is the skin minus the cells, leaving only the dermis or collagen portion of the skin.
Alloderm was approved by the FDA in the early 90’s and was used in a variety of surgical procedures including burn surgery, lip augmentation, nasal septum reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and other procedures. Considering this is a surgical process, you have, once again, surgical risk and general anesthesia risks. In addition, this skin is not permanent and will disintegrate into pieces over several years.
The Surgical method of Fat-Transfer has its own share of issues. The Fat graft may not take or simply die, it may form very large lumps, or just all settle down at the base of the penis (resulting in a ‘donut’ effect). In addition, general anesthesia and a much higher rate of infection are involved with this and all Surgical procedures for that matter.
Dermal Grafts, or skin graphs taken from your own body are even more invasive. This Surgical technique involves cutting skin from your belly or buttocks area (which will need stitches to close), and that skin is processed to remove the hair follicles, and then your penile shaft is cut open, the Dermal Graft is sutured in, and then the penile skin is stitched back together. Does this sound even remotely like something of interest?
So, when one considers any Surgical method, all of these factors must be considered and compared to the Platinum Method.
